For the Cream Filling:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour (or 1/4 cup cornstarch)
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups whole milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Pie:
1 9-inch pre-baked pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
Whipped cream or Cool Whip, for topping
