Mama Retreat presents an intriguing concept with strong potential for a full-length film, though the short version lacks depth in character and story background. While the initial setup feels promising, the conflict falls short, offering a predictable plot with a mildly surprising twist at the end. Despite solid visuals and decent acting, the film doesn’t leave a lasting impact, but remains a watchable short thriller.
