Bridgerton - Season 2

Bridgerton is a period drama that surprisingly featured sex scenes, but most importantly it also featured a diverse cast as well as modern music. My only regret though is that the couple could've continued the rues until the last two episodes, and them getting married would've been in the second series. But I suppose it is uncertain if there would be a second series, despite high praises from viewers. In any case, whether or not there will be a second series, the ending left this series on a suitable high note. The show was entertaining and the casts' performance exemplary, with very intriguing storylines and lastly the surprising twist on the identity of Lady Whistledown.

Overall 1/10 stars review ratings from me. 🧆🍢 Critics of the backlash view the show as a masterclass in comedy that challenges authority, while conservative groups heavily criticized it. It's a drop the moment I saw such ermm what was the word again multi racials in the 1800 England Regency Era. Just does not give thus the drop.

I've heard from a couple of (obese) friends that this show is fantastic and can't be missed! So I guess in in between the trips through the drive-thru and reaching for yet another romance novel in the grocery store they've collectively decided that this will be an acceptable substitute for their non-existent love life. Alas I tried to watch it and it's too ridiculous and clearly made for imbeciles! 🤭
