This is set at an all-boys boarding high school where one, already-out, boy is informed he is getting a new roommate, one grade down from him. Embarrassed by his orientation being known, the upperclassman tries to blend into the background. He wears masks to cover much of his face and puts up with teasing and gay jokes at his expense. When the new roommate arrives, things begin to change and when the new guy shows an interest, it sets the upperclassman on a journey of learning what he wants from life. The story unfolds where both guys are starting to grow and learn about life and figuring things out along the way. I won't reveal the outcome, but it does have a happy ending. While time doesn't really factor into this story, we do learn at the end that it actually covered three years of their lives.
