Madam Sarpanch - Season 1

In Dongav Budruk village, a heated election takes place between the current Sarpanch, Dadarav Bhusale, and his challenger, Anna Divakar. To gain public support, Dadarav organizes a cultural festival. However, Anna plots to disrupt the event. Dadarav's wife, Avli, whom he often underestimates, plays a pivotal role. She anticipates Anna's moves and works to protect the festival from sabotage. During the event, a sudden power outage creates chaos, adding to the tension.

With Avli exposing Anna’s plans, Dadarav's event succeeds. However, due to the election being reserved for OBC women, Dadarav is ineligible to run. Anna nominates his wife, Aishwarya, as a candidate. Under the guidance of a local MLA, Dadarav is compelled to nominate Avli as his candidate. This marks Avli's entry into politics as a contender.

While Dadarav tries to support Avli in the election, she is reluctant to run. Anna fields his wife, Aishwarya, as his candidate, but Avli gains popularity due to her community work. Anna resorts to criticism and creates obstacles for her. Meanwhile, Avli devises a new strategy. What will she do next?

Avli uses her wit to derail Anna's campaign and rebuts Aishwarya during an event, boosting her popularity. She wins the election but faces challenges from Anna's strong faction. Avli must now tackle these new hurdles.

Despite her victory, Avli's challenges are far from over. Just as things seem to be under control, an unexpected event creates turmoil. Can Avli overcome this obstacle and retain her position as Sarpanch?

As the new Sarpanch, Avli takes on multiple issues in the village. While some people oppose her, she remains steadfast and resolves every problem with determination. Her relentless efforts drive significant development in the village.

Avli skillfully navigates political obstacles as the newly elected Sarpanch. Even in the absence of the village doctor, she establishes her authority and faces every challenge head-on. Her dedication and leadership earned her the respect of the villagers and widespread admiration.

Avli resolves the village’s water crisis and receives praise from the Collector. However, political manoeuvres by Anna and Dadarav led to a no-confidence motion against her. In the end, Dadarav forgives her and entrusts her with the responsibility of leading the village as its Sarpanch.
