Made in India: A Titan Story - Season 1

Year 1978. A Sidelined Tata executive Xerxes Desai is tasked with reviving a dying division of Tata's Tata Press, only to stumble upon a bold idea that could redefine Indian industry. Challenged by global humiliation, he sets out to build India's first world-class watch against all odds.

As the team comes together amid personal sacrifices, Xerxes pushes the dream of an Indian Quartz watch through boardroom battles and bureaucratic rejection. Just when hope resurfaces with a government partnership and the birth of "Titan," financial doors slam shut, threatening the vision once again.

When the team falters, Xerxes's unwavering belief, bolstered by family support, keeps Titan alive, leading to funding, a factory, and the birth of India's first Quartz watch. But just as the dream takes physical form, a public humiliation by a foreign rival threatens to shatter everything they've built.

Reigniting the team's spirit, Xerxes turns failure into innovation, fixing the flaw and reshaping Titan through global learning and bold design. Though the launch struggles and sales falter, a startling clue in Chor Bazaar hints that Titan's impact is far greater than anyone realizes.

Xerxes cracks Titan's pricing puzzle and stabilizes the business, even as personal and professional shifts test the team's confidence. A bold branding leap, powered by Mozart's stirring symphony, transforms Titan into a cultural symbol and ignites explosive growth.

At the peak of success, Xerxes's ambition costs him his closest ally and nearly destroys Titan's future. But one last act of belief leads to a historic innovation, turning humiliation into victory and sealing Titan's place on the world stage.
