Mehmed: Sultan of Conquests - Season 4

Sultan Mehmed, poised to march on Rome after expanding his empire from Constantinople to the Balkans, is suddenly confronted by a deadly Papal plot on the Ottoman–Aq Qoyunlu frontier that entangles his sons Bayezid and Mustafa; as the princes are drawn into a trap along the Karasu River, rising tensions threaten to ignite a war between two great states, forcing Mehmed and Uzun Hasan to choose between ambition, anger, and statecraft while the true events at Karasu—and their bloody consequences—hang in the balance.

Mehmed’s march on Rome is shaken when the Karasu bloodshed sparks a crisis with the Ak Koyunlu, forcing him to balance protecting Şehzade Mustafa with defending Ottoman territory while hidden conspirators and Papal agents work to ignite war, leaving Fatih racing to uncover the plot before he’s compelled to turn his sword east instead of toward Rome.

Savcu’s arrest and the trap sprung on Gedik Ahmed and his men leave both empires on the brink, with envoys facing death as Mehmed hunts Saruca’s attackers and Uzun Hasan pushes toward harsh judgment, forcing Fatih to confront a web of schemes meant to halt his march to Rome and determine whether he can save his men and expose the conspiracy before it’s too late.

Sultan Mehmed, forced to divide his forces between Rome and the Akkoyunlu frontier, faces a crippling financial strain that sparks unrest in Konstantiniyye just as Karaman erupts in turmoil, where İshak Bey challenges Süleyman’s throne and a lethal trap awaits Şehzade Mustafa; meanwhile, Bayezid advances the Roman campaign and Uzun Hasan confronts betrayal within his palace, drawing both rulers into a web of plots that may ultimately force their paths to cross again.
