Monsen og nasjonalparkene - Season 1

Monsen visits one of his favourite places. First in midsummer when nature is teeming with life, and then in December when everything rests. Monsen follows the rhythm of the bear.

This park makes Monsen fall head over heels. He is grateful to experience this ancient place, where people have lived in harmony with nature for thousands of years.

Monsen is on a journey to find calm and explore why this forest is so precious. This year, nature as therapy becomes especially important to him.

Monsen wanders into myths of courage and heroic deeds in the realm of the Mountain King, but Teddy presents the greatest challenge during their first big trip together.

Roaming through Børgefjell stirs fond memories, but Monsen notices changes he doesn't like. And even when things go sideways, this landscape still brings peace and joy.

Travelling by dog sled across the ice, Monsen meets researcher, trapper and the king of the Arctic alike. Can we preserve this wild nature for the future?
