This Version of One Piece, which is recutted by fans, fixes a lot of problems I have with the pacing of the original. Espacially in the later arcs.

When Nami falls ill, the crew makes a detour from Alabasta to seek medical help. They happen upon a winter island inhabited by a distrusting populace and a single doctor with a mysterious reindeer companion.

*One Pace* was created in response to the infamously poor pacing of the original (1997) anime adaptation of *One Piece*. This is primarily related to the filler in nearly every episode, in which the first four-to-five minutes of every episode is the opening + flashbacks to the several previous episodes... not to mention countless flashbacks in the middle of many episodes. Some specific arcs *cough* Fishman Island *cough* are even more poorly paced to the point there was an official remake (2024) of one. And there is even going to be an official remake (2027) of the series with the goal of better pacing. Well, before all that came this project (2013). I only discovered this recently, and I appreciate the work of this team. They use the manga as a blueprint to edit the original anime into a more concise and watchable experience, and they do it quite well. For English-speaking viewers, the edited episodes are packaged into dub, sub, or all-in-one formats. 15 other languages are at least a work-in-progress. Kudos to this team.
Episode 1
En route to Alabasta, Nami falls ill. Without a doctor aboard the Going Merry, the Straw Hats must decide whether to stay the course or find more immediate help. As their ship crosses into a frigid area, a figure is seen standing on the water's surface.
Episode 2
If the Straw Hats have any chance of saving Nami, they must carry her up a mountain to see the sole doctor of a nameless, winter island. While Sanji and Luffy fight off the wilderness, a despicable king makes an unwanted return.
Episode 3
A devastating avalanche sweeps Drum Island and puts everyone at risk, but Luffy—step-by-step, hand-over-hand—continues his death-defying ascent up the mountain. Meanwhile, Vivi, Usopp, and Zoro reunite in the wake of the disaster.
Episode 4
Enter Chopper: a talking, transforming blue-nosed reindeer who was trained by Dr. Kureha in medicine. The Straw Hats immediately see the positives and want him on their crew, but Chopper must first deal with the monstrous pain in his heart.
Episode 5
Chopper began life as an ordinary reindeer but was shunned by his own kind because of his unusual blue nose. Even after eating the Human-Human Devil Fruit, the islanders wanted nothing to do with him. That is, until Chopper met a certain quack doctor.
Episode 6
Wapol and his comrades reach the mountaintop castle to wrest control of it back from Dr. Kureha and Chopper. Luffy, Sanji, and Chopper go head-to-head against his Munch-Munch powers, vowing to keep Wapol and his men from bringing down Hiriluk's flag.
Episode 7
Chopper counters the combined Chessmarimo with an item that expands his zoan fruit abilities. Wapol slips away into his old castle, but Luffy runs after him to force a final showdown.
Episode 8
Finally convinced to join the Straw Hat Pirates, Chopper announces his intentions to Dr. Kureha. While she doesn’t receive the news well at first, she decides to give the Straw Hats a fond parting gift while they exit the island.
