This Version of One Piece, which is recutted by fans, fixes a lot of problems I have with the pacing of the original. Espacially in the later arcs.

The Straw Hats seek the fabled sky island Skypiea and head to Jaya for information on its whereabouts. Their convictions are tested by the pirates of Mock Town, but not everyone on the island is a hardline skeptic.

*One Pace* was created in response to the infamously poor pacing of the original (1997) anime adaptation of *One Piece*. This is primarily related to the filler in nearly every episode, in which the first four-to-five minutes of every episode is the opening + flashbacks to the several previous episodes... not to mention countless flashbacks in the middle of many episodes. Some specific arcs *cough* Fishman Island *cough* are even more poorly paced to the point there was an official remake (2024) of one. And there is even going to be an official remake (2027) of the series with the goal of better pacing. Well, before all that came this project (2013). I only discovered this recently, and I appreciate the work of this team. They use the manga as a blueprint to edit the original anime into a more concise and watchable experience, and they do it quite well. For English-speaking viewers, the edited episodes are packaged into dub, sub, or all-in-one formats. 15 other languages are at least a work-in-progress. Kudos to this team.
Episode 1
When a galleon-size ship falls from the sky and Nami's log pose begins to point straight up, the Straw Hats sense a new adventure on the horizon. Right after a mysterious map is pulled from the wreckage, a group of salvagers come to claim the fallen ship.
Episode 2
Mock Town on western Jaya openly welcomes pirates, but that fact is accompanied by constant danger. While asking about the sky island, Luffy and Zoro have a run-in with the loud pirate Bellamy the Hyena who ridicules their dreams.
Episode 3
After a one-sided brawl with Bellamy, the Straw Hats meet a black-haired pirate outside the bar who reaffirms their dreams and insists the sky island is real. As they depart for the other side of Jaya, another salvager of the Saruyama Alliance appears.
Episode 4
The Straw Hats meet Montblanc Cricket, whose descendant was none other than Montblanc Noland, an infamous "liar" who told of a city of gold on Jaya. Cast out for looking for artifacts from the fabled city, he may just know a way to get to Skypiea.
Episode 5
Cricket explains how the Straw Hats can ride a dangerous vertical sea current to get to Skypiea. However, they must first catch a south bird to steer them toward the point where the stream will erupt from the ocean.
Episode 6
While the Straw Hats are in the forest attempting to catch a south bird, Bellamy and his crew attack Masira, Shoujou, and Cricket and steal every gold artifact they had collected over the years from the salvage work of the Saruyama Alliance.
Episode 7
The duel between Bellamy and Luffy shocks all who look on. More shocking are the movements of fearsome pirates on the Grand Line and the machinations of the Blackbeard Pirates, as their captain vies for a position as a Warlord.
Episode 8
Luffy returns victorious from his showdown with Bellamy, and the Going Merry has been refit by the Saruyama Alliance to handle its upcoming upward flight. The Straw Hats follow their captive south bird and steel themselves for their journey to the sky.
