This Version of One Piece, which is recutted by fans, fixes a lot of problems I have with the pacing of the original. Espacially in the later arcs.

The second half of the Grand Line lays just ahead, so the Straw Hats stop at Sabaody Archipelago to plan the way forward. But being so close to the Holy Land and Navy Headquarters, Luffy's crew comes face-to-face with the darkest forces of the World Government.

*One Pace* was created in response to the infamously poor pacing of the original (1997) anime adaptation of *One Piece*. This is primarily related to the filler in nearly every episode, in which the first four-to-five minutes of every episode is the opening + flashbacks to the several previous episodes... not to mention countless flashbacks in the middle of many episodes. Some specific arcs *cough* Fishman Island *cough* are even more poorly paced to the point there was an official remake (2024) of one. And there is even going to be an official remake (2027) of the series with the goal of better pacing. Well, before all that came this project (2013). I only discovered this recently, and I appreciate the work of this team. They use the manga as a blueprint to edit the original anime into a more concise and watchable experience, and they do it quite well. For English-speaking viewers, the edited episodes are packaged into dub, sub, or all-in-one formats. 15 other languages are at least a work-in-progress. Kudos to this team.

Episode 1
As the Straw Hats journey to Fishman Island, they reach the Red Line, the halfway point along the Grand Line. When a sea king appears, Luffy easily dispatches it, but it spits up a mermaid and a talking starfish onto the deck of the Sunny.

Episode 2
The Straw Hats arrive at Duval's (eerily quiet) base and manage to locate Camie's captured friend. Realizing the captive’s identity, the Straw Hats reluctantly agree to rescue him, and only in exchange for directions to Fishman Island.

Episode 3
Blaming Sanji for his misfortunes, Duval swears vengeance on the Straw Hats. Meanwhile, the Flying Fish Riders attempt to sink the Sunny, but the ship is far from vulnerable. Finally, Sanji himself faces Duval in a bid to end things.

Episode 4
The Straw Hats make their way to Sabaody Archipelago to prepare the Sunny for its undersea voyage to Fishman Island. During their search for a coating mechanic, the Straw Hats encounter the Celestial Dragons, the cruel rulers of the World Government.

Episode 5
While at Shakky’s Rip-off Bar, the Straw Hats learn that Luffy, Zoro and nine other rookie pirates on Sabaody have reached a certain level of infamy. Later, Zoro has a close call with an insufferable and sadistic Celestial Dragon.

Episode 6
Nami's group arrives at the Grove 1 auction house where Camie will be sold to the highest bidder. With 200 million berries in hand, Nami is determined to win back their friend. The auction wears on as Luffy and co. race to the grove.

Episode 7
As chaos erupts inside the auction house, a mysterious man with an equally mysterious power emerges from backstage. But now, due to Luffy’s insolent actions, a Marine admiral is on his way to Sabaody.

Episode 8
The Marines surround the auction house, and super rookies Monkey D. Luffy, Eustass Kid, and Trafalgar Law all want a piece of the action. Later, Rayleigh reveals his shocking past to the Straw Hats.

Episode 9
Luffy and his crew decide to lay low in town while Rayleigh coats the Sunny. Meanwhile, Admiral Kizaru from Marine HQ arrives on the archipelago in search of those responsible for threatening the Celestial Dragons.

Episode 10
While four super rookies square off against Kizaru, the Straw Hats combine their strongest attacks to defeat the pacifista menacing them. The battle is barely won when yet another, deadlier foe comes to take its place.

Episode 11
In the face of overwhelming danger, Luffy orders a full retreat. However, Warlord Kuma cuts off their frenzied escape and uses a harrowing touch of his devil fruit powers against Luffy’s crewmates, one by one.
