From the positive result on the home pregnancy test to the baby's birth after intense labor, Taís and Pedro have nine months to get a taste of what’s to come.

The first day at the maternity ward is more chaotic than the nine months of pregnancy. Taís and Pedro had to deal with family conflicts and the difficulties of breastfeeding.

The pediatrician teaches the swaddling technique to help Lia sleep better, but Pedro remains tense while keeping watch. Meanwhile, her grandparents go to insane lengths to see their granddaughter.

Pedro can't seem to create a jingle that doesn't sound like a lullaby. Alone with her daughter for the first time, Taís asks her mother for help but regrets it.

While Patrícia helps her sister have some fun, Driguêra lands Pedro in a tight spot by using the only bottle of breast milk Taís left for Lia.

Amidst the chaos of life as first-time parents, Pedro and Lia invite their entire family over for a New Year's Eve celebration at their home, so they can sneak out for a dinner for two.
