Reborn - Season 1

In the summer of 2007, 17-year-old Qiao Qingyu moved with her family from Shunyun to Huanzhou to start a new life.

Qingyu insisted that Beiyu died of appendicitis. Ming Sheng said that his father was the director of the hospital where Beiyu stayed in, implying that he could know the truth.

Qingyu and her family returned to Nanqiao Village to visit their grandparents. Qingyu examined the traces that Beiyu left in the house, trying to know more about Beiyu.

Ms. Xiu Zhen told Qingyu that she didn't know why Beiyu died, but Beiyu had a miscarriage. Beiyu refused to tell who the father of the child was until her death.

Qingyu learned that rumors about her sister were not spread by Ming Sheng. She began to change her mind about Ming Sheng.

He Fei Hai recalled his memory of Beiyu. At first, Beiyu fought back against bullying. But gradually, She became just like the rumors said.

With the help of Wang Mumu, Qingyu escaped from Hei's entanglement. Hei then went to Qiao's Noodle House instead.

Qingyu delivered food to the building opposite to her, and found that Ming Sheng lived there. In order to repay Ming Sheng's protection, Qingyu helped him tidy up his room.

Qingyu and her family returned to Nanqiao Village to celebrate the New Year and attended Jinrui's wedding. Qingyu was curious when she saw the dancing doll hanging in Jinrui's car.

In front of the grave of Beiyu, Qingyu promised to make the ones who hurt Beiyu pay the price. Qingyu wrote a letter to reveal Jinrui's fault and prepared to distribute it on the wedding day.

Qingyu attended Jinrui's wedding. When it was time to distribute candy, Qingyu put the candy box at the venue and left.

Qingyu gave her lucky charm to Ming Sheng as a gratitude for allowing her stay in his house. Ming Sheng gave Qingyu a gift in return.

Ming Sheng and Qingyu made a pinky promise to leave Huanzhou together. But Qingyu had already decided to leave alone.

Qiao Lusheng insisted on taking Qingyu to Nanqiao Village to apologize for her mistakes. Li Fanghao strongly opposed it, but Qingyu expressed her willingness to do so.

Qingyu sneaked out to meet Ming Sheng under the big tree. The two agreed to return to their normal lives without interfering each other anymore.

Before Jinrui left Huanzhou, he came to the school to say goodbye to Qing Yu. He returned Beiyu's music box to Qingyu, hoping that she could fulfill Beiyu’s wish.

Wang Mumu accidentally fell down the stairs due to violence from her father. Mumu’s ankle was injured, causing her unable to perform on stage. Qingyu arrived in time to help, and hence fulfilled her own dream of dancing.

Ming Sheng ran into Qingyu in the hospital and told her that he was going to study medicine in France. In the rain, Ming Sheng suggested to lend Qingyu an umbrella, but Qingyu refused because they will never meet again.

Doctor Le Fan recalled Beiyu's story to Qingyu, and Qingyu realized that Beiyu did not die of AIDS, but committed suicide by jumping into the sea.

Qingyu and the family returned to Nanqiao Village to keep vigil for her grandfather. Qingyu's uncle and aunt made things difficult for them. Li Fanghao could not bear it anymore and slapped Qingyu's aunt.

After the dance competition, Qingyu and Ming Sheng spent a wonderful time together in amusement park. They played with fireworks sticks at the beach, and Qingyu made three wishes.

Ming Sheng is preparing to go to Beining for the overseas study examination. At the same time, Qingyu is preparing for the college entrance examination.

Qingyu spent a colorful college life. Mumu told Qingyu that Ming Sheng had returned to China. Qingyu sent a message to Ming Sheng, but received no reply.
