Scam Land: Money, Mayhem and Maseratis - Series 1

Journalist Mobeen Azhar investigates the story of a young medical student who handed out free cash to strangers shortly before rumours of a scam emerged.

Searching for the elusive Gurvin, Mobeen hopes to find answers for the people who believe they were scammed. His digging reveals a common thread that blows the story wide open.

Mobeen tries to understand what drives people to trade and uncovers a link between an established financial brand with offices in the City of London and the case of Gurvin.

Mobeen gets closer to Gurvin, and a meeting with a whistleblower raises questions about marketing and responsibility in the multi-billion pound world of retail forex trading.

Following a long silence, Gurvin finally agrees to meet Mobeen and respond to allegations that he scammed hundreds of his followers.
