This series kept my interest throughout. The writing was fairly strong, with a few lapses here and there and some needless filler moments, but overall I thought it was well done for such an intricate plot. I think the final episode could have been a bit tighter, and the ending felt a little like an anti-climax. But I would not discourage anyone from watching it and make up their own minds.
Episode 1
Joe Marin discovers his son Sam has been taken from his school grounds but once Sam is recovered in the home of an ex-schoolteacher the mystery only deepens.
Episode 2
Dr Alex Klima risks an unusually close bond with Simon in the need to defend his client and understand why Simon took Sam. He is deeply affected by Simon’s unwavering romanticism, which hits close to home.
Episode 3
Driven by unrequited love for Simon, Angela escalates matters in her attempts to help him. Police threaten to expose her identity, putting both her professional and family life in jeopardy.
