Sharp Blade in the Snow - Season 1

Exiled for a false charge of patricide, Feng Li returns to Mo City as a puppet queen under her aunt Meng Wu’s control. Feigning madness to survive, she begins testing the assassins hidden among her new attendants.

After surviving an assassination attempt, Feng Li fakes an execution to flush out hidden enemies. A scar on Yun Zhan’s waist awakens memories of a snowbound promise neither realizes still binds them.

Poisoned while secretly investigating her father’s murder, Feng Li collapses into the arms of would-be assassin Yun Zhan, who recognizes the jade token from their shared childhood past.

As Meng Wu tightens her grip on the throne, Feng Li teams up with covert ally Jiang Zimo. Meanwhile, Yun Zhan’s true identity surfaces: he is Cang Lin, the long-lost Crown Prince of Dongli.

Pressured to surrender the mind-controlling incense Fengning Fragrance, Feng Li proposes a fragile alliance with Yun Zhan. Old betrayal and national grudges collide as they agree to hunt the truth together.

Searching for a rare jade ingredient to counter Meng Wu, Feng Li and Yun Zhan survive hallucinatory trials that force them to confront buried guilt and their unspoken bond.

When Meng Wu arrives unexpectedly, Feng Li stages a jealous lovers’ farce to survive inspection. The rediscovered jade confirms Yun Zhan’s worst fear: the queen he vowed to kill is his childhood savior.

A storm triggers Feng Li’s trauma, and Yun Zhan instinctively shields her. As evidence against Meng Wu emerges, loyal guard Bai Yu faces an impossible choice between love and coercion.

While investigating a massacre at Que Tower, Feng Li grows weaker from poison. Yun Zhan drinks her lethal dose to protect her, deepening Bai Yu’s jealousy and Meng Wu’s manipulation.

Drugged into confusion, Feng Li mistakes Yun Zhan for her lost childhood love “Shi Tou.” One night of vulnerability leaves Yun Zhan heartbroken when he realizes he was only a substitute.

Betrayals ignite as Yao Jun exposes Yun Zhan’s identity. Amid fire and bloodshed, Feng Li rescues him but trust fractures as enemies close in.

Meng Wu plants a false “Stone” — courtesan Xiao Ze — to manipulate Feng Li. As illusion replaces memory, true loyalty is tested in silence and suspicion.

Feng Li grows dangerously attached to Xiao Ze, unaware he is poisoning her. Bai Yu sacrifices his own blood to secure her antidote while Yun Zhan watches, powerless and misjudged.

Political marriage negotiations push Feng Li toward sacrificing her sister Feng Ling’er. Yun Zhan secretly takes poison in her place, deepening misunderstandings that threaten to destroy them all.

Revealing she has long known Xiao Ze’s identity, Feng Li turns the trap against him — only to publicly condemn Yun Zhan as traitor and send him to death row to purge the court.

To break a forced alliance, Feng Li personally travels to Qiqi. Yun Zhan stages her assassination as part of a secret pact — their shared goal now aimed directly at Meng Wu.

Alone in Qiqi, Feng Li confronts twin heirs Xin Yao and Xin Miao. Back in Mo City, Bai Yu spirals under Meng Wu’s influence as Yun Zhan moves in the shadows.

Discovering Qiqi’s succession secret, Feng Li forms a political marriage alliance. Yun Zhan storms the palace in jealousy, only to learn the wedding was staged to secure power.

Feng Li returns to Mo City under false allegiance, while Meng Wu pressures Feng Ling’er for control of the imperial tiger tally. Loyalties begin shifting inside the palace walls.

Yun Zhan appears to betray Feng Li to Dongli loyalists but the exchange is staged. Disguised as a mute servant, Feng Li infiltrates enemy ranks to dismantle Meng Wu’s network from within.

A decoy queen is installed in the palace while the real Feng Li hides in plain sight. Yun Zhan is imprisoned, and Meng Wu’s grip seems absolute — until cracks begin to show.

On the eve of a political wedding, rival factions converge. As armies, evidence, and secrets align, the truth about the real queen threatens to explode in public.

With alliances shifting, Meng Wu prepares to seize full control through marriage. Hidden players — including the true Qiqi heir — move into position for the final reckoning.

During the wedding ceremony, the real Feng Li returns with Yun Zhan and the tiger tally, exposing Meng Wu’s treason. Stripped of power, Meng Wu is imprisoned before the ancestral temple to face eternal regret.
