The Green Green Grass - Season 1

Boycie claims it's just a mid-life crisis, but are there other more compelling reasons for him selling up and moving from his mock Georgian life in Peckham to a new life as a gentleman farmer in Shropshire ?

Winterdown Farm, the Boyce's new home, is complete with its manager, herdsman, ploughman, housekeeper and 800 acres of nothing but grass and a bull.

When Marlene threatens to cook, Boycie is dispatched to pick blackberries for a pie and meets his friendly new neighbour.

It's tribute night at the Horseshoe Inn. Elgin's sister gets a special offer on cows. Tyler takes the entrance exam for his new school. And why does Boycie have a job for Llewellyn ?

Tyler may have received a wake-up call from the Driscoll Brothers. However, his first day at school provides him with a sudden interest in the works of Thomas Hardy. Marlene has trouble sleeping until Jed provides an unusual remedy.

Traditional country remedies are tried for Rocky's predicament. Boycie and Marlene have a heart to heart with Tyler.

Are Boycie and Marlene about to gain entrance to high society ?
