Davies uncovers a tragic tale of revenge, spurned talent and faded glory when he investigates the suspicious death of a faded, hard-drinking former rock star Teddy O'Connor, lead singer with 1970s Glam Rock boy band The Overnite Sensations.

Davies investigates the spectacular death of stock car driver Geoff Fallon, and discovers that the motive may lie closer to home than he cares to admit.
