Zhi Xiao was upset that her parents did not attend her concert. Later she found out that her father was ill. Thankfully, The check-up results stated that her father does not have cancer. However, Zhi Xiao lost her cellist position. What's more was that her father kept criticizing her ability. Just when the two were in a heated argument, they received a call. The doctor found out there was a misdiagnosis.

Lin Zhi Xiao investigated Gu Wei, and misunderstood that he was just a useless handsome guy. She even heard that he had a medical malpractice recently, causing her distrust on Gu Wei. Therefore she began her search for another professional to review her father's report.

Lin Zhi Xiao convinced her father to take gastroscopy again, but he refused and even lost his temper. At the end, he finally agreed to take gastroscopy. And he's diagnosed with cancer. Zhi Xiao's mother broke down in tears.

Lin Zhi Xiao's friends Yin Xi and Jin Shi came to visit Zhi Xiao's father. Yin Xi also brought a good news - the cellist of the orchestra's absent. This might be a chance for Zhi Xiao!

Lin Zhi Xiao's father knew that the surgery was not as simple as people said. He panicked and sneaked out of the hospital. Everyone was extremely worried to find out Zhi XIao's father is missing.

Zhi Xiao reckoned he wouldn't give it out, but her mother actually got it successfully. Gu Wei even wrote a note on some precautions after surgery that the family should pay attention to.

Gu Wei sent Lin Zhi Xiao home. Gu Wei suddenly grabbed Zhi Xiao's hand, making Zhi Xiao nervous. But it turned out that he was just telling Zhi Xiao to go to the hospital to for her tenosynovitis as soon as possible. Lin Zhi Xiao was disappointed, and thought she misunderstood the relationship between them. Meanwhile, Gu Wei was annoyed by his own awkwardness, so he gave his jacket to Zhi Xiao.

Gu Wei ran into Lin Zhi Xiao when he got off work. Seeing Lin Zhi Xiao had no umbrella with her as it was raining, Gu Wei hesitated and only took one umbrella out of his car to share with her. The school invited a famous violinist over for an exchange program. It turned out the violinist was Shao Jiang, the senior who always encouraged Lin Zhi Xiao. Gu Wei mistook it as a sign of Zhi Xiao liking Shao Jiang. Because of that, Gu Wei began to hide from Zhi Xiao. He even pretended to be on phone to avoid talking with Zhi Xiao.

Gu Wei and Lin Zhi Xiao were both invited to the opening party of the cafe. Gu Wei intended to talk with Zhi Xiao about her father, as he thought it's not the best time to end the chemotherapy he's doing to go to America. However, Zhi Xiao was angry at Gu Wei. And with what Shao Jiang mentioned earlier, she just didn't want to take Gu Wei's advice.

Gu Wei made congee for Lin Zhi Xiao, but Zhi Xiao was allergic to it. Zhi Xiao hid herself from Gu Wei as her face was full of rashes. Gu Wei said Zhi Xiao looked cute no matter what.

Gao Xi was upset about Gu Wei and Lin Zhi Xiao being a couple. She came to visit Gu Wei. Gu Wei felt sorry for how Gao Xi felt, but honestly told her that he's always seen her as a friend. Gao Xi couldn't believe her feelings had been one-sided all along.

It's the weekend. Lin Zhi Xiao wore her heavy make-up, with a pair of high heels. After a short while of walking, Zhi Xiao's already tormented by her heels. She began to regret her choice of outfit today.

Shao Jiang asked Gu Wei and Lin Zhi Xiao out for dinner. The atmosphere was intense between the two men. Gu Wei kept showing off his current relationship with Zhi Xiao, while Shao Jiang couldn't stop talking about the past.

Lin Zhi Xiao received a call from San San, telling her that Gu Wei was on a blind date with a lady. Zhi Xiao immediately rushed to where Gu Wei was. It turned out it was a set-up by Gu Wei's mother. Gu Wei was happy to see Zhi Xiao being jealous.

Lin Zhi Xiao was looking forward to their first trip. Gu Wei brought her to a hostel where it's easy to see the meteor shower. Gu Wei requested for two rooms after arriving the hostel, but the hostel owner said there's only one room left.

Gu Wei got the chance to go to Germany for an exchange program for a year. This exchange program would be beneficial to his promotion. Gu Wei thought about Lin Zhi Xiao, so he answered Mr. Gao that he needed to discuss with his family. Later on, he called Zhi Xiao for a meet up, and planned to tell her about this exchange.

The concert was successfully held. Lin Zhi Xiao's parents and Gu Wei were all present. Zhi Xiao performed really well. After the performance, An Fei reached out to Zhi Xiao, stating that the company would like to sign a contract with her. Zhi Xiao was delighted, so as her parents.

Because of the worsen condition of the patient and the complaint from patient's family, Gu Wei lost the chance to go to Germany. Although Dr. Gao told him there would always be another chance as an encouragement, Gu Wei was still upset. He had no idea how to break the news to Lin Zhi Xiao.

Lin Zhi Xiao kept calling Gu Wei, but he's not picking up the phone. Zhi Xiao was so upset that she's not eating nor going out. Meanwhile, Gu Xiao sent a message to San San before leaving. San San then tried to look for him, but he's unreachable. Gu Xiao's friends told San San that Gu Xiao would always disappear when he'd found a new girlfriend.

Lin Zhi Xiao was busy packing her things after returning home. On the other hand, Gu Wei sent Zhi Xiao flowers with an apology message, but Zhi Xiao didn't accept it. Gu Wei caught a cold so he acted weak in front of Zhi Xiao, hoping she would take care of him and gradually forgive him.

Shao Jiang urged Lin Zhi Xiao to prepare materials for going abroad. Zhi Xiao was hesitant. She talked with Shao Jiang about An Fei. Shao Jiang told Zhi Xiao that she should be where her heart is. Therefore, Zhi Xiao made up her mind and told An Fei that she's not going to Germany. However, she's not telling Gu Wei about this news.

Lin Zhi Xiao was exceptionally nervous on the day the parents met. She hoped to leave a good impression to Gu Wei's parents. However, Gu Wei's mother thought the two should only consider getting married two years later as Zhi Xiao was still young. At that moment, Zhi Xiao's father stood up and told Gu Wei's parents how their daughter supported the family throughout the year. He's sure his daughter would be a good wife.

Lin Zhi Xiao and Gu Wei had an appointment to try on the wedding dress. Zhi Xiao's parents expressed they'd join them. Before leaving home, Zhi Xiao's father felt unwell. Though he had a tough time, he insisted going out as he didn't want to leave any regret.

After the wedding, Lin Zhi Xiao's mother told Zhi Xiao that her father prepared her a wedding present. Upon returning to the suite, Zhi Xiao found the present. The present consisted of seven letters. She had to open one letter every year starting from her wedding day.
