The Summit - Season 1

Ben Shephard presents the first episode of a thrilling reality series as 14 ordinary Brits set off to climb one of New Zealand's highest peaks to win a share of 200,000 pounds.

The group face terrifying crossings and are forced to make another difficult decision when they reach the first base camp.

The group grapple with who should leave the mountain at the first vote-off before confronting a terrifying vertical cliff face.

An exhausting snow hike tests the remaining climbers as former Gladiator-turned-reverend Warren faces a moral dilemma.

A dramatic twist sees one member of the group be forced to make a heartbreaking decision by the Mountain's Keeper.

Trust becomes an issue when some chocolate goes missing, and a terrifying crossing over a deep chasm sees the group confront their fears.

There is no let-up in the terrain for the six remaining climbers as Dockers' fortunes on the mountain take yet another turn and The Summit gets closer.

The final four make the last terrifying ascent to The Summit in New Zealand and try to claim their share of the cash prize.
