Remove Background from Image - AI Background Remover

This page removes an image background in two different ways: an AI mode that estimates the foreground subject, and a color mode that makes pixels near a selected color transparent. Both modes export PNG so the removed background can remain transparent.

Choosing A Mode

• AI mode is better for people, products, and subjects with uneven or detailed backgrounds.
• Color mode is better for flat studio backgrounds, screenshots, logos, and simple graphics.
• The tolerance slider in color mode removes a wider or narrower range of similar RGB colors.
• Fine hair, shadows, glass, and low-contrast edges may still need manual editing afterward.

Processing Notes

AI mode loads the background-removal library in the browser, and color mode uses browser Canvas pixel editing. The result is generated locally as a PNG object URL for preview and download.
